Volunteers are an integral part of FCM. One of the most valuable contributions a family can make to the school and the educational experience of the children is their time and skills. In order to enhance the operation of FCM beyond the scope of a private school‘s budget and expertise, each family is expected to contribute 15 volunteer hours during the academic year. In the interest of maintaining high professional standards and protecting our student and volunteer community, we have developed a Volunteer Policy. It is distributed yearly in your FCM Parent Notebooks. The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) will provide notice of all volunteer opportunities at the beginning of the school year and as necessary. It will also send out a survey sheet so you can choose the activities in which you wish to participate. Each classroom will provide its own list of volunteer opportunities.
